Everything you need to know about Optionia
Optionia supports 16 option types, including Text, Textarea, Number, File Attachment, Date Picker, Drop-down, Radio Button, Checkbox, Color Swatch, Image Swatch, and static options like heading, paragraph, HTML, etc.
These options support different types of customer input, selection, and file uploads. The option types available to you may vary depending on your subscription plan.

Install Optionia - Product Options from the Shopify App Store. Optionia is available on the Free plan and paid plans with a 14-day trial. Once installed, the free plan will be activated automatically. You can upgrade the plan later.
No coding is required. After installation, activate the Optionia app embed in your Shopify Theme Editor to display your options on your storefront.

Open the option set and scroll to the Product section. You can apply the option set using one of three methods:
All Products to apply it to all products in your store
Manually Select Products to choose specific products
Select Products with Conditions to automatically assign products based on conditions

If your options are not appearing on your product page, check the following:
Make sure the Optionia app embed is activated in your Shopify Theme Editor.
Make sure the option set status is Active, not Draft.
Make sure the option set is assigned to the product.
You can check the app embed status from your Shopify Theme Editor.
After downgrading your subscription plan, you will lose access to features that are available only on your previous plan.
If your new plan has a lower option set limit, you will need to select the option sets you want to keep active within your new plan’s limit. Any remaining option sets will automatically be changed to Draft status.
Once you reach the maximum option set limit of your current subscription plan, you will not be able to create any new option sets until you upgrade your plan or make an existing option set inactive.

Use Multi-Level Options to create sub-options that appear depending on a customer's previous selection. A sub-option appears only when the customer selects the specified parent option value. For example, you can show specific design choices after a customer selects Red as the color.
Yes. You can set an extra price for an option or each option value. Price add-ons are available on the Advance and Professional plans.

Yes. Optionia is designed to work with all Shopify themes. To display your options on your storefront, activate the Optionia app embed in the Shopify Theme Editor.
Open the Optionia app and go to Orders. Select an order to view the customer's selected options. You can also download files or images uploaded by the customer.

Yes, you can customize the appearance of each option set separately by applying Custom CSS in the Advanced Styling section of the respective option set.
You can also update the overall design theme from Settings → Design → Theme. The number of themes you can create and customize depends on your subscription plan:
Free Plan: You can edit 1 theme.
Advanced Plan: You can create and customize up to 3 themes.
Professional Plan: You can create and customize up to 5 themes.
Yes. With the File Attachment option, you can allow customers to upload files and control the types of files customers can upload. You can allow specific file types while configuring the option in admin. You can also set a maximum file size that customers can upload.
Yes. New option sets are saved as Draft and do not appear on your storefront until you change their status to Active. You can use the built-in Preview panel inside an option set to test your options before making them live.
Live Preview is also available on the Professional plan, and you can check the live preview of an option in the preview section inside your option set.
When you uninstall Optionia, your subscription is canceled, and the app is removed from your store. Your Optionia fields will no longer appear on your product pages after the app is uninstalled.
